UPDATES

• There is currently an issue with the GFCI connected to the in-water lights at the outdoor pool. As a precaution, the power to these lights has been disconnected until the GFCI can be replaced. The electrician has been notified, and will be out as soon as possible to replace the GFCI. Until then, the outdoor pool will be closed at night from 9pm until 6am. For safety reasons, we are not able to offer night time swimming without this illumination. Thank you for your understanding.
• I have reached out to LID 6 to report our concerns regarding the current lake levels. According to their rep, the City of Richmond is currently experiencing an issue with their filter system, which is affecting their ability to move water through the system. They are working to push as much water as they can. They are also in the process of contacting the manufacturer to address the problem.
• We have recently completed repairs on a leak that was occurring in the Men's locker room shower area. The damaged dry wall repair is scheduled to begin this weekend. Once that is done, the damaged carpet will be replaced.
• The bucket truck was on site this week to replace several burned out HOA street lights and parking lot lots.
• Golf carts, UTVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and the like are NOT permitted on the sidewalks or patios at the Lakehouse or in the Community. We have recently had 2 bollard lights at the Lakehouse run over and damaged by golf carts driving on sidewalks.
• We will soon be upgrading the side fencing panels on the Pickleball Court from half size panels to full height panels. While we don't have an exact date for installation, this project will take place some time in August, and will require the court to be closed while workers are on site. We will provide updates as they are confirmed.

REMINDERS

• An eblast was sent this week announcing the Association's switch in banking providers. We are currently in the process of switching the operating bank account from Pacific Western Bank to Alliance Association Bank. Please refer to the email for more information and for instructions on what you may need to do. Your HOA account number is not affected by this bank change. Your HOA account number will remain the same.
• Bank Transition Email
• Please, do not remove or take items from the Lakehouse. Art, décor, furniture, plants, kitchen utensils, tools, etc. are not up for grabs. These items are considered Association assets may be moved, placed in storage, or rotated by staff from time to time according to need or season, but this does not mean they are free to take. Anything that is being offered for residents to take will be clearly marked as such. Thank you!
• The indoor pool is closed for renovations. DO NOT ENTER THIS AREA. It is an active construction zone. Feel free to peek through the hallway window to see the current progress, if you are curious.

A Hypnotic Night At The Lakehouse

Join us for Sweetgrass "Photo" Bingo!

From July 1 – July 31, enjoy all Sweetgrass has to offer by playing Sweetgrass Photo Bingo, and be entered to win a prize! Rules below:

1) To qualify for the grand prize, simply complete all activities in the bingo squares and take a picture of you doing the activity prior to August 1. Participants that complete a “blackout” of their bingo cards will be entered for a chance to win.

2) Upon bingo card completion, submit your Bingo card, along with your photos showing each of your activities. Please send these photos to Sweetgrasstx@ccmcnet.com.

3) All participants have until August 6 to submit their bingo cards and photos. There is no advantage given for faster completion. Watch for more info on the prize.

New Pickleball Instructor!

• Meet Sharon Meyer. Sharon started playing Pickleball in November 2018. She knew as soon as she started playing that she loved the game and wanted to learn more and become a better player.
• As an IPTPA Level II certified Pickleball Instructor since 2020, Sharon uses her retired teaching skills to introduce and teach others all about Pickleball. She will provide lessons in groups of 1-5 players.
• She loves playing recreational Pickleball, entering tournaments, and playing in leagues. She has won many medals in doubles and mixed doubles over the last four years, including a 'Golden Ticket' in the Houston Open at Memorial Park in November of 2022, qualifying for the 2023 Nationals being held in Dallas in mixed doubles.

New in the Fitness Center

• We are thrilled to welcome a new fitness expert to our fitness family. Join Chris Munguia on Wednesdays from 10 AM - 2 PM in the Fitness Center. Chris is a licensed massage therapist and certified YMCA fitness instructor. He will be in the fitness center to give fitness center orientations, help resident's learn more about fitness, as well as guide residents' while they are using the equipment. Free! Call the Lakehouse to reserve a spot!

Aquacise in July!

• Attention residents! While the indoor pool is being worked on, ALL aquacise classes in the month of July will be at 9:30 AM in the outdoor pool (Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays).
• Please note that there will be no Aquacise on August 7th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

New Fitness Classes Coming in July

• Attention residents! We will be introducing 2 new fitness classes in July! ZUMBA with Mishell which will be held on Thursdays at 6:30PM (Starting JULY 6), and Dahn Yoga with Uzii (Starting July 14) which will take place on Fridays at 12 PM.
