Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus,
In addition to His Precious Blood, His Eternal Word, His Name above all names, and His Total Authority in heaven and on earth, His Word gives us key verses by which we are already empowered with His Holy Spirit as His salt and light to dispel the evil darkness all around us. HALLELULIAH! NO MORE PLAYING LUKEWARM CHURCH!
In this series we focus on HIS ARMOR, those weapons of spiritual warfare given to us in Ephesians 6:10-20. These are to be used offensively against satanic forces. As you find that any one weapon needs strengthening, confess that to Your Friend, the Teacher, the Holy Spirit. He will forgive you. Then ask Him to help you repent, to replace that weakness with His full power of His Eternal Word. Then act on it !
In so doing, you honor His assignment for us to become more holy as He is holy. Moses failing to honor the holiness of Almighty God kept Moses out of the Promised Land ! (Numbers 20: 12: " Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, 'Because you did not believe Me, TO HALLOW ME in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.")
Here is Ephesians 6: 10-20 in the Amplified version; let each Word sink in; we focus on verse 17b today:
" In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [ that strength which His boundless might provides]. Put on the full armor of God [ for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavy-armed soldier], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [ the master spirits who are ] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly [supernatural] places. Therefore, put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground successfully on the evil day [of danger], and having done all [ that the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart), and having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news].
Above all, lift up the [protective] shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. With all prayer and petition pray [with specific requests] at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people. And pray for me, that words may be given to me when I open my mouth, to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news [of salvation], for which I am an ambassador in chains. And pray that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly and courageously, as I should.
Please join me in repenting that the Christian church at large has way too often failed to 1) prepare people to come into His Kingdom through sincere repentance, real conversion, and 2) failed to encourage God's people to USE God's complete armor and the indwelling the Holy Spirit to stand up successfully against ALL the strategies of the devil.
We have unknowingly, or sometimes even knowingly, created dry, empty religious tradition-based "church services." Or, an atmosphere of seeker friendly “entertainment” in our sanctuaries, instead of Holy Spirit-filled prayer gatherings where real repentance is welcomed and modeled by the shepherds of His flocks. Instead of playing church we need boldness in Truth spoken from every pulpit about the true state of our souls, our families, our land. It's time to use God's Words, His Solution, to dispel by sincere repentance the moral and physical pestilence in our nations, starting with you and me. May the church not be deceived by the enemy regarding the real spiritual battle God’s people now face.
As the Lord leads, please join me in this prayer: " Father God in the name, blood and authority of Yeshua the Mashiach (Jesus the Christ), You have commanded the church and Israel to walk in full obedience to You. You have called us to love You with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. We declare that Your church shall have no other gods before you. Teach us to be discerning and to put on the Armor of God daily as we stand strong in You, living daily for Your Kingdom purposes. Enable Your church to awaken from their slumber! It's time to WAKE UP! Place the FIRE of the Holy Spirit over Your true church, burning away all that is not of You! Shake, dismantle, and make null and void all falsehoods within the churches across America and all other nations!

THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD : His sixth weapon of spiritual armor
Ephesians 10:17b (amplified)
And the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God
Forgive me, LORD, and the church for often not being “ready and prepared” to battle according to God’s Word and Truths. (2 Samuel 10:12)
I repent on behalf of the church for not studying Your Word, in great depth, so that we may not be fooled with twisted philosophies contrary to your Word. (Colossians 2:8)
I repent for the church not recognizing that You have already given us ALL that we need for spiritual battles. May this Truth be taught boldly at every pulpit across America and all nations! (Colossians 2:15)
I repent that I and the body, Lord, often have not remembered that our righteousness and all talents(gifts) come from You. (1 Peter 4:10)
We repent on behalf of the church that too often forgets that Your righteousness never fails. Even though we sin, we stand in Your righteousness because of the blood of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 1:30)
We repent that instead of cleansing our hearts through sincere repentance, we have in any way played church, and as a result what pours forth out of our hearts is not the good treasure provided by You. (Luke 6:45)
We repent that Your shepherds in Your church have too often failed to be diligent in teaching and displaying Your Word, bearing fruit themselves, worthy of repentance. (Matthew 3:8)
Almighty God, help Your Bride thirst for righteous-living by being sensitive to and proactive in what we watch, speak, read, set our eyes upon, and participate in. May Your people identify and be convicted to remove all in our lives that is not in alignment with Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 12:1-2)
We repent on behalf of ourselves and the church, for not always being an example of “walking in shoes of Your peace.” We have oftentimes not been slow to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Teach Your church in the perfect way of Yeshua. (James 1:19).
We repent for often not living as an example of Christ and what we say we believe. Our lives have too often reflected the “ways of the world” becoming a stumbling block for many. (1 John 2:10)
Forgive us, Your body, for feeling fearful of enemy attacks against us and our nation. Remove fear of man and replace it with the healthy fear of YOU, LORD. Strengthen Your people to lift the Shield of Faith remembering that You go before us and are our rear guard! (Isaiah 52:12)
We repent that many have not understood that You alone are our Armor of protection. We will not walk in fear. You promise to be with us always and uphold us by Your righteous right hand as we battle for the Kingdom of God. (Isaiah 41:10)
I repent, LORD, for any time when I did not HALLOW You in front of others, not following Your Word. Forgive Your Bride for times when we are distracted by the world (1 John 2:15) and do not stand on the conviction of our perfect salvation in You. You paid it ALL. (Galatians 2:20)
Forgive us, LORD, for not using the “Sword of the Spirit”, Your word, in which there is HOPE, to fight the evils which surround this nation and Your people. (Psalm 119:114)
Forgive us, LORD, for many being lukewarm towards the POWER of Your word, which you promised will never come back void. (Isaiah 55:11)
We repent on behalf of the pulpits across America that are not fully teaching Your sheep the truth that Your word is a powerful weapon against the principalities of this world. (2 Corinthians 10:4)
LORD we repent that we have not yet fully wielded the Sword of scripture over all things that come against You and Your people. May we use Your Word that no weapon formed against us will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)
Forgive us, Your people, for times when we did not rely on Holy Spirit wisdom to guide us in fighting the spiritual enemy that plagues our nation. (John 16:13) Teach us, Lord, to walk by faith and not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Teach us, Lord, to honor You and Your Word, by girding ourselves daily with YOUR BELT OF TRUTH, YOUR BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, SHOD WITH YOUR GOSPEL OF PEACE, to face the enemy with firm-footed stability, and the readiness produced by the Good News, LIFTING UP THE SHIELD OF FAITH, PUTTING ON THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and taking up the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE WORD OF GOD, that we may be prepared and ready as overcomers for the spiritual battle we face for You. (1 John 4:4; Revelation 3: 19-21)
Declaration:
By the Authority given to us in Jesus, we declare that God's people will gird themselves daily with the Belt of Truth, with His Breastplate of Righteousness, will be shod with His Gospel of Peace, to face the enemy with firm-footed stability, with the readiness produced by the Good News, will lift up the Shield of Faith, extinguishing the flaming arrows of the evil one, and will put on the Helmet of Salvation, and take up the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, so that God’s people may be prepared for spiritual battle!

Luke 8: 2-3 lists those who ministered to Yeshua/ Jesus "from their substance."
Those women are a great model of giving today; we don't know how much each gave, but each is now recognized eternally in God's Holy Word.
