FARMER SPOTLIGHT

Terry & George Moffitt, Tater Hill Farm

Mash em', boil em', put em' in a stew! "I never met a tater I didn't like," claims Terry Moffitt, and when Terry and his clone son George are raising them, we agree. Iron Mountain and Roan Mountain tower over the fertile and elevated valley of Buladean NC, where the Moffitt family has been growing a wide variety of vegetables for generations. You can find their produce through TRACTOR's Farefield CSA and wholesale distribution programs, as well as various farmer's markets along the northeastern NC-TN border.

Whether you're on the warehouse floor or on the road connecting with farms and community outlets, you'll be handling some of the best foods these mountains have to offer. We won't sell short the incredible farmers and partners you'll meet along the way, too! Learn more here.
