Jesus is Coming SOON!

It's time to make sense of what's happening around us according to God's master plan.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5

Don't miss it and don't be late!

Dear Tim,

This Sunday, November 5 is an important day!

Not only does Daylight Savings Time end (clocks roll back an hour, giving us an extra hour of sleep), but I'm sharing a rather timely message regarding what's happening in our world, and the soon return of Jesus.

Evidence of the soon return of Jesus is everywhere. Recently, I've been asked multiple questions regarding the end of the age, the Battle of Armageddon, and the return of Jesus.

So, this Sunday, we will take a look at current events, the Bible, and discern the times we live in.

I'll be addressing when Jesus returns, along with how we should respond to the signs of the times around us.

Let's discover the truth of Jesus' soon return!

ALSO, this Sunday City Life Church will host a guest worship team from The King's University.

Plan to arrive by 10:25AM for congregational prayer and worship!

At City Life, you can count on being warmly greeted, engaging a pleasant family atmosphere, and hear a sermon that will challenge you in your daily life.

I'll see you in church on Sunday!

Loving on the Homeless

As a downtown church in a large, rapidly growing city, we interact daily with numerous homeless individuals in our neighborhood. Fortunately, there are many homeless services available within blocks of our church.

As a result, we have decided to take a creative approach to homeless ministry that is a bit different than other ministries and non-profits. We fill a gap that gets us deeply involved in their lives. Instead of providing meals, lodging or clothing, we primarily focus on customized ministry to the homeless who attend our church.

Ultimately, our goal is to see people move out of homelessness with our assistance and support. Through the years, we've seen several men and women transition from living on the streets to having housing, jobs, careers, and even owning their own homes!

There is one particular individual, though, who is unable to function independently, and City Life Church makes sure he has a roof over his head, food in his refrigerator, medical care, bus passes and more.

His name is JACK, and I just want to thank our City Lifer's for your regular giving, as well as those who helped him move to a new location a couple of weeks ago.

We do for one what we wish we could do for all! Keep Jack in your prayers!

Jack is one of us, and he will have a great reward in heaven.

Fun in the Fall Sun!

This is a perfect time of year to take a hike and enjoy the outdoors here in Texas.

My son, Ian and I spent a few days exploring several Texas caverns as well as engaging the serenity of West Texas.

I love going to the top of some of those West Texas mountains and looking over the vast expanse of God's creation like in the photo on the right.

So, get outdoors and take time to appreciate what God has given us to enjoy!

Give to City Life Church

I want to thank those of you who give consistently and regularly.

Your faithfulness is appreciated. May God bless you!

Set Up Recurring Giving

I'll see you in church on Sunday!

Please be here by 10:25 AM this week, and enjoy the extra hour of sleep.

God bless!
