TSOC hosts community BBQ
to thank Peel frontline heroes

The Story:

A local group (Spirit Of Pentecost, TSOC, Ashley’s No Frills & Kebab Factory) in collaboration with community partners (Peel Crime Stoppers & Boots On The Ground) hosted a BBQ to thank PEEL frontline heroes (First Responders, Health Care, Public Transit, Waste Management, Grocery Stores, Teachers, Transportation, Factories, Restaurants, and more) for their service during the COVID-19 emergency.
Guests were treated to Hot Dogs, Kebabs & Samosas. There was also a surprise
visit by the ice cream truck. The weather held up and everyone enjoyed a day filled
with music, laughter, and community engagement.
Honourable guests including Brampton Mayor, Patrick Brown and Caledon Mayor,
Allan Thompson were in attendance. Best wishes were received from Region of Peel
Chair, Nando Iannicca, Mississauga Mayor, Bonnie Crombie and Region of Peel
Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Lawrence Loh.
