Moments from the '23 Academic Pitches
Fresh Box
Simple Sustainability
On May 10th & 11th 8 teams presented their Academic Pitches to our judges, other volunteers, their teachers, and their peers. Presentations included live demonstrations, integrated videos, explanations of the development process, and challenging Q&A. Students were prepared, professional, and able to think on their feet. After all the pitches were complete, the judges had the difficult task of selecting which four teams would be offered the opportunity to present on the stage at Pitch Night. In addition to considering the persuasiveness of the pitches, judges consider team dynamic, additional information provided in the investor packets, short and/or long term viability, progress made during the MVP phase, uniqueness of the idea, and scalability or viability as a local business. All eight teams are to be commended for the work they've done this year in the Business Incubator. We hope that EVERYONE will come out on Pitch Night to support the teams presenting and to learn more about the business ideas developed this year and this amazing LFHS program. RSVP TODAY FOR UPDATES BEFORE, DURING & AFTER THE EVENT.

Join Us Invest Donate
Do you have an interest in supporting these entrepreneurs or the Business Incubator program? Please join us for this year's event. Investors are always welcome at Pitch Night and we encourage them to connect with teams about possible funding opportunities. We will also have opportunities for community members to donate to specific teams, contributing to their start up costs without an expectation of a return. Finally, we will be providing opportunities for our audience to donate toward future Pitch Night Prize pool or the LFHS Foundation. You can stay up to date on all of this at our event website:https://pitchnight23.givesmart.com/
