THE CLUBHOUSE GRILL IS OPEN!
|
|
Monday-Friday -- 9am-7pm
Saturday-Sunday -- 9am-6pm
|
|
I want to thank all of you for your support since we opened for business one month ago. We have received some great feedback and I would like to keep all of you in the loop on what’s happening with The Clubhouse Grill.
Some of the changes we have made as a result of member feedback are:
- bigger, better Angus Hamburger Patty
- increased portions of Tuna and Chicken on all items
- added two healthier dressing options (house-made lemon vinaigrette and Italian vinaigrette)
- added Cobb Salad
- added Pizza
- added Pulled Pork Sandwich
- added Salmon
- added gluten-free buns and bread
Our goal is to keep the menu fresh and seasonal, rotating menu offerings quarterly. Many of you have requested that French Fries be added to the menu; we are still working on the best way to deliver them tasty and fast without using a fryer.
Your time is important to me so I’m always thinking of the best way to deliver fast tasty food. I encourage your feedback so we can continue to make changes and provide you with tasty food in a reasonable amount of time. I can be reached by email at alex@acrestaurantmanagement.com or 714-801-3140.
Thank you,
Alex Crisostomo

These levels are a guide and adjust based on members playing at any given time. You should challenge on a court at your skill level. Watch the matches in play and challenge on a court that is at your skill level.

Check-in at the Concierge Desk during hours of operation to receive a court assignment for individual courts.

COURT POLICY DURING PEAK PERIODS
|
|
During busy play times (typically Friday and Saturday mornings) court times may be restricted. If your group has been on a court for an hour and a half, you may be asked by the Pickleball Director to give up the court for a waiting member group. We encourage you to use this opportunity to play on Challenge Courts, or take a break and wait for another court to become available.
If you are unable to find an open court during a peak period, please see the Pickleball Concierge for assistance.
|
|
At TTC, the dress code is conservative. Members should refrain from wearing any overly revealing clothing, including any denim. Men should not wear cutoff shorts or muscle shirts.
Please show respect to our club and your fellow members by wearing the appropriate attire.
|
|
Many new members are unaware of the "etiquette" of pickleball (and many "old" members may need a reminder!) We hope a few basic pointers will be helpful. We should all be considerate of other members on the court!
-
Please don’t enter or exit across a court when a point is in progress. Wait until play has stopped; then move briskly so as to not hold up the match.
- If entering or exiting from one of the gates, be sure to close the gate behind you.
- If you hit an errant ball onto an adjacent court that is in the midst of a point, causing a potential safety issue, call out “Ball On” to notify other players and stop their play. If your errant ball is not a safety issue, wait until the point is over before retrieving your ball.
- Members are welcome to play music on the courts, but please be respectful of other players by keeping the volume at a level that it can only be heard on your court. If other members ask you to turn your music down, please do so.
|
|
TTC is a smoke-free facility.
Service Dogs are permitted, only if they are pre-registered.
Court shoes must be worn during play. If you are playing in shoes that are unsafe,
you may be asked to leave the court for your safety.
Use caution when playing on courts bordered by windscreens and chasing down a ball. The windcreens cover chain link fencing, with posts.
We recommend stretching prior to play, and be sure to hydrate.
If you are not feeling well, please stay home.
If you observe unsafe play or have any issues with fellow members, immediately notify staff, pros, Front Office and/or management at payable@nbcctennis.com.

The Classes button on the TTC app will allow you to register for Ladders - a fun way to play pickleball with other members at a similar skill level. We have added a number of Ladders to our schedule and encourage you to play in a Ladder when you can.
Ladders are designated by skill level. If you aren't sure of your skill level, please ask Abbi (he is a Certified Rating Specialist). Members can only play in one Ladder per week, at their skill level.
All players are asked to arrive fifteen minutes early to warm up. Rounds are 13 minutes each with a two minute water break between rounds. Winners move up one court, lowest score moves down one court and everyone changes partners for their next match.
Registration for the following Ladders will be available on the app 48 hours in advance. The first 32 players will be able to register; the next 4 players will be added to a wait list and automatically scheduled if a registered player cancels.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) will be ineligible to participate the following week.

COACH ABBI'S TIP OF THE MONTH
|
|
A competitive player has a plan for his/her game, believes in the plan, and follows the plan.
A competitive player knows that winning isn't the most important thing.
The most important thing is enjoying the game and following the plan.

From the 2022 Handbook (for Tournament play):
12.1.1. Doubles Play
In the event based upon skill rating, the higher-rated player determines the team’s ability level. In an adult event (ages 19 and over) based upon age grouping, the lowest age of the team members will determine the team’s age classification. Players may play in a younger division unless prohibited by the rules of the National Senior Games Association.
