Members may bring a maximum of 3 guests to play tennis or pickleball for a $30/day fee per person. Guests must be accompanied on the same court with a member, and must sign a liability waiver. Guests may not participate in any club-organized play (ladders, etc.) No guests permitted Saturday mornings.

Love your kids? Love pickleball? We invite you to celebrate Father's Day with your children on the pickleball courts!

On Sunday, June 19th no guest fee will be charged for children of members.

New Member Intro Clinics will be held every Sunday, 12-1:30pm on Courts 9 and 11.

This clinic is free to all recent new members, one time only. We will help you navigate the numerous clinics and organized play offered at TTC Pickleball, and Coach Abbi will give on-court instruction.

Courts 1, 3, 5 and 7 are designated as Drop-In Courts. This allows our members to play even when they don't have a scheduled match, especially during busy times.

Court reservations are available only for groups of members needing three or more courts, so that group play can be assured of adjacent courts. Members only!

Click the button below or contact us at ttcpickleball@gmail.com to reserve courts for a member group.We recommend checking the current schedule prior to playing to determine which courts are reserved and avoid being asked to move due to a group reservation.

Many new members are unaware of the "etiquette" of pickleball (and many "old" members may need a reminder!) We hope a few basic pointers will be helpful. We should all be considerate of other members on the court!

TTC is a smoke-free facility.

Dogs are not permitted.

Court shoes must be worn when playing on the courts.

The Classes button on the TTC app will allow you to register for Ladders - a fun way to play pickleball with other members at a similar skill level. We have added a number of Ladders to our schedule and encourage you to play in a Ladder when you can.

Ladders are designated by skill level. If you aren't sure of your skill level, please ask Abbi (he is a Certified Rating Specialist). Members can only play in one Ladder per week, at their skill level.

All players are asked to arrive fifteen minutes early to warm up. Rounds are 13 minutes each with a two minute water break between rounds. Winners move up one court, lowest score moves down one court and everyone changes partners for their next match. 

Registration for the following Ladders will be available on the app 48 hours in advance. The first 32 players will be able to register; the next 4 players will be added to a wait list and automatically scheduled if a registered player cancels.

Sunday Advanced Beginner (2.5-3.0) Courts 13-20

For now, the established Friday Ladies Ladder and Saturday Ladder will continue to be managed on GroupMe (on their specific GroupMe pages). Sign-ups post on GroupMe Wednesday morning.

There are separate GroupMe accounts for the Friday and Saturday Ladders. Signups for each Ladder will be posted weekly. Only those who sign up on GroupMe will be able to participate.

Once you have downloaded the app and registered, use the app to sign in at the Front Desk. There is a QR code on the top right of your phone screen in the app - click it and your access code will appear.

If you have any problems downloading the app or signing in, the Front Desk staff will be happy to assist you.

GroupMe is a great tool for our members to set up matches and sign up for Friday and Saturday Ladders. Our page is "TTC Newport Beach Pickleball Club". There are separate pages within the app for the three Ladders.

Patty Weber is the administrator of our GroupMe app. Give her a call (8am-5pm) at 480-292-1499 if you have any questions, she's happy to help!

We recommend muting your notifications on GroupMe as some of our members LOVE to post! To mute, click the icon on the top right of the screen - the top item is a toggle to mute.

You can set up a separate string within GroupMe to communicate with a group of TTC members.

Are you interested in learning more about the rules of pickleball?

TTC members Lynn Gosselin and Cindy Lightner are USAPA Level Two trained referees. They will be coordinating future training sessions, for members who are interested in becoming referees, or just want to learn more about the rules of pickleball. Let them know if you're interested!

This tournament is a national qualifier. Gold medal winners in each bracket will receive a Golden Ticket for pre-registration to the 2022 National Tournament.

Over 1,400 players from across the country have already registered. Registration closes June 14th.

If you are not competing, we hope you will plan to attend and cheer on your fellow TTC members and our guests.
