As we prepare to celebrate the holiday of our namesake, how much do we really know about the patron saint of Scotland? Who was he and how did he get the honor of being Scotland's patron saint? Better yet, how many people know that this particular celebration didn't even originate in Scotland but instead by a group of Scottish ex-pats in South Carolina during the 18th century looking to celebrate their Scottish roots?

CELTIC MUSIC FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Legendary two-time Grammy award nominated Celtic musician and singer Loreena McKinnet will be releasing a new album on November 18th entitled "Under a Winter's Moon!" 

McKinnet is a Canadian-born musician of Irish and Scottish heritage who has a career that spans over two decades. This will be her 16th album release accompanied by an eight city tour.
