  • John Howard Society of Alberta launches Flourish to support domestic violence victims
  • Connecting Beyond Project can also help to provide technology for victims of Domestic Abuse to access required services and supports
  • Contact RCMP for new pamphlets on Strangulation
  • TriCala and Parkland County Libraries offer Tech Drive from 10AM-1PM Mondays in Spruce Grove, Tuesdays in Stony Plain, Wednesdays in Parkland County
  • Community partners planning events for November Family Violence Awareness month, contact SP FCSS to join conversation

  • Technology Deprivation (Youth, Families, Homeless)
  • Coordinating Food initiatives to maximize resources and benefit those in need
  • Need for more affordable and Low-Income housing
  • How to get information to those in need when they need it (consider not technology, no phone, no fixed address, need for pay phones
  • Need to encourage people to access help before crisis or desperation
  • Social and Mental affects of isolation
