Ryan's Going on Sabbatical, But Don't Worry...He's Got Things Covered
After 15 years as music director, Ryan Cox is taking special leave for professional development. His goals: to visit congregations around the country and in Europe to find more diverse and eclectic choral styles, participate in classes and/or conferences, and spend time with family. Organist AnnLaura Tapia will serve as music director while he's gone. There's a plan to manage our musical needs over the summer and a Sabbatical Committee has been formed to provide guidance. All expenses paid from the Hautau Fund, a restricted church fund designated for sacred music education.
When : June 10 through Sept. 2

Sign up for as many shifts as you want or for a meal team, laundry, or supplies.
When : June 17-24

To volunteer : Sign up here or email Erin Molek or call 708-354-0858, ext. 113
HELP! Choir's Off for the Summer
We need you! Not a soloist, but want to lend your talents? We'll find you an ensemble. The goal is to schedule musicians for all Sundays before Music Director Ryan Cox's sabbatical begins June 10, so email him ASAP to sign up. Summer's also a great time to learn that instrument you've always wanted to play. Whether you're a child or an adult, take lessons at First Conservatory, a ministry of FCCLG. Learn piano, voice, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, violin, viola, bass, harp, or request your favorite. Visit the website for more info.
What Better Way to Get to Know Each Other Than An All-Church Campout?!
If tent camping's not your thing, reserve a cabin or RV spot or drop by (the campground's less than 20 minutes from La Grange). Tent site reservations are done as a group, so email Nick Redmond ASAP.
