Timberwolf Team,
As we begin our third week of the Spring semester, I am reminded of Terrence E. Deal’s powerful message: “If a school does not stand for something more profound than raising achievement levels, then it probably does not make a memorable difference to teachers, students, or parents.”
Our campus mission is rooted in the belief that education is not solely about meeting high academic expectations but about instilling values, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating a joyful learning experience where the whole child can thrive. These first three weeks are critical in sustaining a positive campus and classroom culture through the reinforcement of clear expectations, routines, and procedures.
I encourage you to reflect on the deeper meaning of our roles as educators. How are we contributing to the development of well-rounded individuals? What values are we imparting to our students that will stay with them long after they leave Prestonwood Montessori & E.D. Walker Middle School?
In the spirit of Terrence E. Deal’s wisdom, let’s focus on sustaining our shared vision - a learning experience that goes beyond the surface – a culture that is memorable, transformative, and meaningful. Let’s continue to make a profound and lasting impact!
One Pack One Goal,
Albert Briones
Assistant Principal
E.D. Walker Middle School
