| Good Day Darlings,
For most of us, it feels impossible not to notice and feel the heat rising on our planet, between nations, neighborhoods and within families and friend groups...especially on line. So what do we do when a boiling pot is about to overflow? WE TURN IT DOWN How do we do this? Please - learn & utilize practices that calm your mind & nervous system. They help. Breathe...Reflect...Direct Energy where you need it most. Maybe it's unplugging from the digital world for 24 hours or more, a long walk in nature, embracing and holding someone close, journaling, going on vacation, swimming in the ocean, exercise, 15 minutes of sunshine in the early morning, snuggling & playing with animals, holding a baby, playing with children, listening to music, prayer, taking epson salt baths, sharing your heart with a therapist and/or trusted confidents, diving into a creative project...

Invitation: Identify 3 things from this list above and do at least 1 today for yourself.
2: We Focus on How We Want to Show up in the World
Do we want our words and actions to deepen the divide or be available to find our shared humanity and paths toward peace? If your answer is the latter, me too...so what can we do? Here area couple of ideas to consider:
Stay active & advocate for the causes that are important to you- become a volunteer, join a board, write to your state representatives, write articles or social media posts that educate and constructively invite the reader to contemplate and transform old ways of believing or being that don't serve themselves or the greater good.
While staying connected to communities, aligned with our values & visions - it is so very important for us to ALSO find ways to reach out to people different from us ; learn more about them...their history, stories, dreams, fears, perspectives and heart. Mourn their losses, and share our own.

There are so many ways to stay true to ourselves, respectful to others, and be a benevolent presence on our planet today.
Invitation: Choose one suggestion from above or add your own. Then just offer it up. We are all in this together and the world needs you.
Your feelings, opinions and voice matter. And so do the feelings and voices of others. So the next time you may feel triggered by something you hear someone say publicly ... Pause and walk away. Or, pause and respond - respectfully. Most of us want the same things in life...safety, sovereignty and feeling seen, heard and valued. More peace will feel more possible when we look for, discover, express and collaborate from our common ground.
So today's Wednesday Wisdom is this... Preserve and Protect Your Mental Health and Choose Kindness and Practice Respectful Dialogue - even, and especially when it feels hard
 💫 Love > Peace> Blessings 💫 |
