The Leadership 4 Teens 2025 program is thriving at both Douglas High School and Aspire Academy High School.

Thanks to our partnership with Douglas County School District's Jobs for American Graduates (JAG) Program showcasing MEFIYI's unwavering dedication to empower our youth and establish business-community collaboration.

Our monthly presentations introduce local businesses with community leaders where students are given invaluable insights into the world beyond the classroom.

This month, we were honored to have Nathan Tolbert, a MEFIYI Board of Trustees Member, Douglas County Commissioner, and a local business owner of Form Consulting, share his wisdom with our students. His inspiring messages, "You don't have to have it all figured out, but keep moving forward and keep growing". "Embrace challenges as opportunities".

REWARD CLUB

REWARD Club @ Pau Wa Lu Middle School. The REWARD Club is on a mission to equip our middle school students with the ultimate toolkit for high school success. Think of it as their superhero utility belt! In this presentation, we discussed how to prepare for part-time/ full-time employment, LifeSkills of staying healthy making good choices for themselves and working on their mental game.

Let’s face it, showing up on time is more than just a skill. It’s a superpower in today's society demonstrating dependability and punctuality. Reinforcing these values, our goal is setting students up for success in their academic and professional journeys. Let’s rally together, families and students alike, because at MEFIYI, we believe a supportive community is the key to building strong leaders of tomorrow. Your success is our REWARD.

Celebrate Nevada's Birthday on October 31, 2025, a day that marks the admission of Nevada into the Union.

*Did you know that Nevada is home to the world's largest gold mine, the Carlin Trend.

*We have the Great Basin National Park, where you can find ancient bristlecone pines that are over 4,000 years old.

*Nevada was the 1st state to ratify the 15th Amendment, which prohibits the government from denying the right to vote based on race.

*The Extraterrestrial Highway (St. Rte.375) is famous due to numerous reported UFO sightings
