SASEAS families,

This week is teacher appreciation week. Thank you to everyone who has been taking the time to make this week special for our awesome teachers. A special thank you to our PTO for the many special treats they have provided all week, as well as, arranging for lunch with no duties and for decorating the teacher’s doors at the Seton campus and the hallways and faculty work room at the St. Andrew campus. They look fantastic!

Congratulations to all our second graders who made their First Holy Communion last weekend. We will continue to pray for the rest of the second graders who will be making their First Communion over the next two weekends.

Happy Mother’s Day this weekend to all our SASEAS moms who provide such loving support to our school children. Enjoy your day! We hope many of you can join us at our Seton campus this Friday morning prior to school for Muffins with Moms and May Crowning at our St. Andrew campus at 11:30. A special lunch will follow May Crowning for all moms/grandmothers who sent in their rsvp.

Congratulations to our Character Award recipients for April and May. The trait for April was resilience and May was resourceful.

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade Girls on the Run team: Emma Eaves, Alexis Engel, Annika Flynn, Ava Gray, Nicole Hardesty, Juliet Lain, Holly Lamphier, Jasmine Lipsky, Abigail Merkle, Keara Reed, Ella Reineck, Josie Serger, Erin Sweeney and Elise Weiner. They completed a 5K last Tuesday. They are preparing to run in the city-wide Girls on the Run 5K on Saturday, May 11th in downtown Cincinnati.

We look forward to the First Grade Play next Thursday, May 16th. Performances are at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There will not be an evening performance.

Next week is exam week for our 8 th grade. I know that they have been busy preparing for them and that they will do well. Our end of year exams is just another way that our school prepares our students for the transition to high school.  Right after exams they will be heading to Washington DC for their class trip.

God Bless and have a great week,
Nick Grieco
