From Mr. Wilburn's Desk
SASEAS families,

We hope you can join us this Friday for our BIG day of worship, celebration, and fun! Bishop Binzer will be with us for the 9:00 a.m. All-School Mass. We will assemble in the Seton cafeteria for our Blue Ribbon Celebration at 11:00 a.m. The Run4Fun will kick off on the football field at approximately 1:45 p.m. Remember, Friday is not an early dismissal as has been done in the past. Our preschool will be in session on Friday and will be hosting various activities throughout the day for their runs. K-8 students have been instructed to wear their school uniforms to school and bring a change of clothes for the Run4Fun. A pizza lunch will be served by Milford Nutrition Services.

Our USDE Blue Ribbon profile page is here . We have also received some local media exposure. See several recent news stories below:

Today was the last day for the Run4Fun collections. If you forgot, please send in the large envelope tomorrow. Thank you for your support! More info is on our fundraising page here . We can still accept online donations via our website tonight!

In Christ's peace and love,
Mark Wilburn, Principal

Preschool News

We are having such an exciting and joyful week in the preschool. We started off the week with the wonderful Mrs. Fels giving tours of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Some of our classes toured today, and the rest will have an opportunity during the month of October. The children learned all about the pictures and artwork in the church, the special red candle that is always burning, the organ and choir, and holy water.

Our preschoolers are also preparing to participate in the SASEAS Run4Fun this week! We are inviting our preschool parents to join us at their child’s scheduled run, and all are invited to attend the all-school run at 1:45 p.m. on Friday. Here are a few important reminders:
  • Every child who runs must have a signed and submitted waiver. Additional copies are in the preschool office.
  • Please have your child wear clothes that can get messy and shoes appropriate for being outside in the wet grass.
  • If your child is in the PEDAL Program on Friday, please send in some clean clothes to put on for the afternoon.
  • If you are a Friday family, please be aware that the parking lot will be very full. There will be teachers present during drop-off and dismissal to assist. If you come to the Run4Fun, you may have to search for parking. You could try the park across the street or at the library if there isn’t any parking in the school lot.

The following are our scheduled preschool run times:
  • Thursday, October 11 at 10:45 a.m. - Mrs. Angela’s and Mrs. Sheila’s Tuesday/Thursday morning classes will run. At 2:30 p.m. - Mrs. Angela’s Tuesday/Thursday afternoon class will run.
  • Friday, October 12 at 10:45 a.m. - Mrs. Angela’s and Mrs. Liz’s three day morning classes and Mrs. Alison’s and Mrs. Wendy’s five day morning classes will run. At 1:45 p.m. - Mrs. Liz’s class will run in the Run4Fun with the whole school. All families are invited to come back for the all-school run.
