Greetings From Mr. Estes... | | |
Dear SASEAS Families,
Happy Feast Day of Our Lady of the Rosary! The trust we show by praying the Holy Rosary is a sign through which we recognize that God works through each of us and collectively within our community. Through Mary’s intercession, we can strengthen our connection to her Son, Jesus, and strive to fulfill God’s plan for our lives. May we follow her example in all that we do, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word”.
Midterm reports will be coming home next Tuesday, October 13, for grades 4 through 8, these first six weeks seem to have gone by especially quickly this year. Although a written report won’t be coming home for the other grades, it is a good time to check in with students and celebrate and/or adjust as needed. Thank you for all you do as the primary educators in the lives of our students; your support and influence greatly impacts our community.
A final reminder that our annual Run 4 Fun fundraiser will be happening this Friday, October 9; this is also an early dismissal day. All students will be at our Seton campus to celebrate this event and I am looking forward to having everyone together for the day.
Thank you to everyone who has donated; as always, your generosity is humbling. If you would still like to donate we will be accepting donations up to the day of the event to be applied to our school total. Our goal for this year is forty five thousand and we are very close to reaching that number. Thank you to our PTO and the volunteers who have worked so hard to make this possible.
Please see the reminders section for details concerning our Run 4 Fun and other upcoming events.
Make it a great week!

We would like to thank Miami Township Fire and EMS for visiting our preschool classes this week and next week teaching us about fire safety and showing us their gear. We always enjoy a visit from our firefighters!
The three-year-old classes are learning about Community Helpers. They are talking about firefighters, police officers and construction workers. They are painting flames and making the color orange out of red and yellow paint in art. They are driving construction trucks on letter and number shaped roads. Mrs. Christina’s classes have pretend fire extinguishers and are putting flames out in their classroom. And Mrs. Sheila’s class is driving cars through black paint and making art with them. In religion they are learning how to pray, and where to pray.
The four-year-old classes are also discussing Community Helpers this week. They are reviewing their shape identification as they are making fire trucks out of shapes. They are painting fire using plastic forks and making a paper plate police car. In religion they are learning about Queen Esther and how she bravely saved God’s people.
Our five-year-old class has a Fire Safety theme this week. They are discussing when to call 911, making a fire evacuation plan, and learning to “stay low and go” if they need to escape from a fire. They are going on a Fire Safety scavenger hunt and looking for ceiling sprinklers, fire exit signs, and fire alarms in the school building. Their religion lesson this week is “Made in God’s Image”.
Have a blessed week!
Mrs. Aimee

Step Into Leadership
Board Positions Opening Soon!
Ready to make a bigger impact with Boosters? Our President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are stepping into their final year in these roles — which means now is the perfect time to start preparing to lead.
We're looking for dedicated volunteers to shadow one of these positions for 6–12 months before officially taking the reins in 2028. It's a rewarding way to give back, build lasting relationships within our community, and help shape the future of SASEAS Boosters.
Interested, or just want to learn more about what each role involves? Reach out to Jason Reeves at saseasboosterspresident@gmail.com — we'd love to talk with you.
