Greetings From Mr. Estes...

Dear SASEAS Families,

Thank you to everyone who attended our Meet the Teacher events. I want to extend a special thank you to our priests, Fr Del, Fr Chris, Fr Ed, and Fr Pat, for attending both events. Their ongoing support and involvement in the community and school is so important in the growth and development of our students. Thank you as well to Lisa Caito and the PTO for coordinating and facilitating the social time to begin the night at each campus. Finally, thank you to our faculty and staff for your additional time and effort to make both evenings successful.

Our next opportunity to come together will be our Run 4 Fun on October 9. All students will be at our Seton campus for that day; this is also an early dismissal day. Although this event occurs during the school day and may be more challenging to attend, I want everyone to know that all are welcome. This event is also our primary fundraiser for the year and I greatly appreciate the support and donations that we have already received. Just a reminder that we will continue to accept donations and turn-ins up to the actual event. Please see reminders for details for this and other upcoming events.

Just a reminder that we are quickly approaching our mid term reports, they will be sent home next week on October 8. This is a good time to check in with students to ensure that they are on track academically and make adjustments as needed. Mid terms and trimester report cards are great ways to monitor overall progress; however, ongoing consistent monitoring and collaboration with the school is the best way to prevent any academic surprises. Thank you for your continued support of our Christ centered mission to help all students learn and grow.

Make it a great week!

Preschool News

Preschool Webpage

This year we have partnered with the Clermont County Library for Library Outreach. Each month three to four classes of preschoolers get to attend a story time with librarians from the Miami Township Branch. We are grateful to Ms. Buskey for our terrific Story Times!

The 3-year-old classes are continuing their lessons on apples this week. In science they will review the apple lifecycle and dissect an apple to see the seeds. They are putting apple erasers on apple trees and they are learning that apple starts with the letter “A”. In religion they are learning about prayer.

Our four-year-old classes are also focusing on apples this week. They are working with “apple counting mats” in math and are learning about the parts of an apple in science as they compare apple weights, determine whether apples sink or float, and cut an apple open to see what is inside. They are also tasting red, green, and yellow apples. In Religion they are learning about Adam and Eve.

The five-year-old class is counting, sorting and graphing their apples. They will discuss the life cycle of the apple and will wrap up the week with a STEAM challenge in science as they try to build an apple tree and see how many apples it can hold. In religion they are learning about the Blessed Trinity.

Have a spectacular week!

Step Into Leadership

Board Positions Opening Soon!

Ready to make a bigger impact with Boosters? Our President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer are stepping into their final year in these roles — which means now is the perfect time to start preparing to lead.

We're looking for dedicated volunteers to shadow one of these positions for 6–12 months before officially taking the reins in 2028. It's a rewarding way to give back, build lasting relationships within our community, and help shape the future of SASEAS Boosters.

Interested, or just want to learn more about what each role involves? Reach out to Jason Reeves at saseasboosterspresident@gmail.com — we'd love to talk with you.
