Local school councils bring parents, teachers and school leaders together to support and improve education.
Nominations for School Council will be open from August 10 - August 31, 2018. All nominations must be received either electronically or in the front office of Discovery High School by September 7th. A link to the electronic nomination form is included here. You may nominate yourself or others. If nominating another person to serve, contact information for that person must be provided to ensure they are willing to accept the nomination.
Elections of School Council members, if necessary, will be held during the week of September 10th.

Terms on the council are two years (unless the parent no longer meets qualifications).
Attendance at quarterly meetings during the school year is required. The times and dates of these meetings will be finalized at the first meeting on Tuesday, September 25th at 6:00 PM.
Demonstrate a cooperative spirit in working with all members of the School Council.
