SYC Cheer hosted their Fall Pep Rally on Saturday, November 4th at the West Springfield High School. All of our fall cheer squads and All-Star cheer squad performed cheers and routines for family and friends. Congratulations to all of our fall 2023 cheerleaders on their amazing performances, all of our cheer volunteers, and Cheer Commissioner, Brenna Matthews!

Winter Cheer is up next. Registration is already waitlisting, but the commissioner may be able to accept a few more cheerleaders, in particular for cheerleaders in grades 5-9.

SYC UP (Unlimited Potential) Basketball registration is now OPEN! This is a program intended for our young athletes with disabilities and for youth and adult volunteers who would like to volunteer to assist. The program will be an 8-week clinic-style basketball experience that will teach the fundamentals of basketball. Pals (youth and adult volunteers) will be side by side with each athlete as they learn, play games, and have fun!

Fall Volleyball High School Girls Clinics - Just Added!

New this season - SYC Girls High School Volleyball Clinics! Each clinic session is $30. The clinics are intended for players who are at a level of experience as players on a high school volleyball team and are not aimed at beginners/intermediate players. The clinics are a great opportunity to get some training before SYC's Spring High School Girls Travel team tryouts!

Our 12U Girls Travel Softball team is accepting players for the spring half of the season. Tryouts will be held at Hayfield Secondary School softball field on Tuesday, 28 Nov from 6PM-7:30PM. Tryouts are FREE, but players must register for tryouts to participate. Note, players cannot turn 12 before 31 December 2023 to be eligible.
