SYC House of Speed - Nationals

What another spectacular season for the VA House of Speed (HOS)! Over 19,000 athletes from across the country competed this year in the Outdoor National Track and Field Junior Olympic Meet. The Top 8 in each event and age group qualified as All-Americans and received medals.

Rec Soccer Uniform Process

Everyone needs a SYC uniform to participate in rec soccer! If you still need a uniform, please follow the infographic instructions.

What is SFL?

The SFL (Suburban Friendship League) is an umbrella league where older teams play teams from other Fairfax County club teams to expand competition. It's mandatory for players in this league to have unique uniform numbers on their teams. Players must receive their number assignment from the coach/LD when ordering new jerseys. If you order a jersey without number assignment, and there is a number conflict, you will be required to reorder jerseys at your expense.

Players in these age groups are NOT in the SFL:

* Boys U6 - U12 (birth years 2017-2011)

* Girls U6 - U11 (birth years 2017-2012)

* Girls U19 (birth years 2004-2006), and

* Girls (birth years 2007-2008) who opted

to play in the Girls U19

Everyone else is in the SFL.

Uniforms are purchased from Springfield Soccer Store, 7261 Commerce St, Springfield.

Rec Soccer Uniform Information

It is to announce supplemental tryouts for the 2010 and 2009 boys and girls age groups. Players can come to two sessions and see if they like the environment and professional training. Register for tryouts HERE and contact Este Maldonado at estmaldonado@sycva.com for session details.

Travel Soccer will be hosting a Team Manager Meeting on Thursday, August 18th at the SYC Clubhouse, 7201A Lockport Place, Lorton, at 7:30 pm. Team Managers, please plan to attend to receive important information to help you manage your team this season.
