SYC is seeking new & experienced Basketball Referees for the 2023/24 Winter Season!

This is a PAID POSITION! Referees must be 13 by March 31, 2023. Parents must register minors as PARTICIPANT/PLAYER for "Basketball (Referees) - Winter 2023/2024".

Adult referees must register as TEAM STAFF/VOLUNTEER in the system when registering. Select "Basketball (Referees) - Winter 2023/2024".

Our County (Travel) Basketball Program is looking for coaches for 5^th - 8^th grade boys and girls. If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at countybasketball@sycva.com.

SYC 2013 Girl Academy travel soccer team is seeking a goalkeeper! Parent/guardians of interested players, please contact Coach Mark Abel at marcabel@sycva.com.

On Tuesday, September 26th, Players wearing an SYC jersey get in FREE with a paying adult. Entry is good for Freshman, JV, and Varsity games. Freshman games start at 5PM, JV at 6PM, and Varsity at 7:15PM. This is a great opportunity for our young players to see what it's like to play at the high school level. They'll be in high school before you know it!

SYC is a proud participant of the Adopt a Highway program. We are responsible for a stretch of road near the former SYC Office off of Newington Road. Our scheduled fall clean up day is Monday, September 25 from 1PM-3PM. This is a student holiday for FCPS.

This is a great opportunity for the kiddos to get their community service hours done. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.
