On Wednesday, March 9th, Mike Vieno was sworn in as our new Chief of Police. Vieno has served in the Town of Kenneth City's Police Department since October of 2001.

Kenneth City: Parks and Recreation

We would like to highlight one of the Town's most popular community spaces, James P. Ernst Park. Ernst Park was recently renovated in 2018 and rededicated to James P. Ernst, Kenneth City Chief of Police from 1999-2007. This community park is the Town’s largest and houses a shaded playground for children of all ages, an adult fitness zone, a dog park, tennis court, basketball court, shuffleboard court, cornhole boards, table tennis, filtered water fountains and a Splash Pad.

Visitors can rent the pavilions and spend the day enjoying these amenities. Residents who are interested in taking advantage of our recreational amenities are welcome to check out equipment such as Shuffle Board (tang and biscuits), Aerobic Frisbee, Wiffle Ball, Ladderball, Table Tennis sets and Cornhole bags. For more information about checking out the recreational equipment or renting a pavilion, please contact the Administrative Assistant at Town Hall at adminasst@kennethcityfl.org. You can also call for more information. 727-498-8948
