Mission Statement

Our Vision Friends and neighbors joyfully sharing and living the Gospel and the transforming love of Jesus Christ through our Parish Family

Our Mission To invite and welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life to embrace and celebrate our vocations.  "To be Christ to the world.”

My child, conduct your affairs with humility, and you will be loved more than a giver of gifts. Humble yourself the more, the greater you are, and you will find favor with God. What is too sublime for you, seek not, into things beyond your strength search not. The mind of a sage appreciates proverbs, and an attentive ear is the joy of the wise. Water quenches a flaming fire, and alms atone for sins."

Dear Parishioners and Friends

September is here!  Throughout the summer lots of  preparations have been underway at Christ The King Campus. Volunteers have moved furniture and school supplies onsite. There have also been pavement repairs, landscaping, cleaning and painting, along with the addition of a refurbished Saint Kateri/Christ The King sign with a decorative fence.

I am happy to announce that Chesterton Academy will begin a new school year at Christ The King on September 4th.

This High School for Grades 9 -12 will be located primarily on the south side of the Christ The King building. School tours and information are available.

Our Faith Formation staff and volunteers have expanded into available classroom space on the north side of our school building and added new space for Confirmation and Youth Group meetings, as well as creating a dedicated meeting room for general parish meetings and gatherings.  Registrations for Confirmation and Faith Formation can be made by stopping by the Parish Office or by phone.

The Catholic Ministries Appeal for the 2025-2026 season has begun. Some people have already received Information about the CMA with more mailings being sent out in the coming days.

Finally, if you have not already done so, please consider giving to the Parish Collections either by basket or by online giving.  We are all feeling the effects of higher utility bills and related expenses in almost every category.  Thank you for your support!

May God bless you!

OCIA is for:

  • Anyone who is curious about the Catholic Church
  • Anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic
  • Adult Catholics who have not completed the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, or Confirmation).
