Official Newsletter of Infant Toddler Family Day Care
The Twig - August 2021
With the increase of COVID-19 cases including among children and vaccinated individuals, ITFDC wants to remind everyone:

Parents: If anyone in your home has any signs of illness (including a runny nose), please keep your child home.

Providers: If anyone in your home has any signs of illness (including a runny nose), please close your home.

New Child Care Rates - Effective October 1, 2021
During July 2021 the providers of Infant Toddler Family Day Care reviewed the cost of child care in our community to determine the rates they will charge. The majority of the providers decided there will be a 3% increase.

Although the majority did vote for an increase, please keep in mind that parents and providers may together discuss the fees and decide to use a different rate category to meet individual needs.

The new rates are posted on our website (https://www.infanttoddler.com/what-we-do/our-programs/program-basicsrates/). The new rates will be on the September 15, 2021 invoice due October 1, 2021. Providers will receive the increase on the October 15, 2021 check.

Congratulations
Congratulations to our Board Member, Robert Gundling, for being selected as a 2021 Exchange Leaders by Exchange Press.

Robert was asked “What is your personal ‘mantra’ that is important to your leadership?” His response: “Be kind, humble, and dedicated to service leadership. Always remember that out of adversity comes strength and wisdom.”

Thank you, Robert, for these wise words and CONGRATULATIONS!!

Kudos
"We absolutely love Afrah. I'm heartbroken that we need to switch daycares, but we have another baby on the way and live an hour away so it won't work to continue with her. She has been like a second mother to our daughter and we're so grateful."

"Nahid has been a wonderful care provider for our son from day one, and treats you and your child like family. Our son was always happy to go to "school" to see her and the close friends that he made there. Nahid provided a happy, safe, and loving environment for him to learn and grow, challenging him with age appropriate toys and activities throughout the day. When he gave up naps early, she was very patient with him, working on quiet individual play while the others slept. During the couple of months that we kept him home during COVID-19, she went the extra mile by cooking lunches for him. We loved the photo updates during the day, the birthday parties she threw for all of the kids, and the little gifts she provided for him and his friends. Nahid has felt like a part of our family."
