Dare to Lead
- a book read beginning in March
A group of folks have indicated an interest in reading “Dare To Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts”, by Brene Brown, a social worker by trade who has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Brown’s definition of leadership: “…anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” (p4)
The group is gathering on Mondays at 11 am and their next gathering will be Monday, May 20th, in the pastor’s study of First Presbyterian Church of Redlands. You’re invited to join in as you are able! More info:

Vital Congregations works with pastors, church committees and middle governing bodies to provide training, materials and consultation for all worshiping communities and in planting new congregations.
