The UPDATE - May 2019
A Message from Timm
For this reason, though I am bold enough in Christ to command you to do your duty yet I would rather appeal to you on the basis of love—and I, Paul, do this as an old man, and now also as a prisoner of Christ Jesus. I am appealing to you for my child Onesimus, whose father I have become during my imprisonment. Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to both you and me. Philemon 8-11

Dare to Lead - a book read beginning in March
A group of folks have indicated an interest in reading “Dare To Lead: Brave Work. Tough Conversations. Whole Hearts”, by Brene Brown, a social worker by trade who has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Brown’s definition of leadership: “…anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential.” (p4)
The group is gathering on Mondays at 11 am and their next gathering will be Monday, May 20th, in the pastor’s study of First Presbyterian Church of Redlands. You’re invited to join in as you are able! More info: (909) 793-2839

Big Tent - Baltimore
Join the movement of Presbyterians in Baltimore for a Big Tent like no other.
The theme, Called to a Movement beyond Institution, will emphasize our hope of the Gospel and its power to challenge institutional conventions. The goal is to come together and live in this moment, immersed in our current cultural context of racial division, gender inequality, and economic disparity to be renewed, refreshed and reformed, so that we may be sent out to affect change in our own communities.

Movies With a Message
Join with friends at First Presbyterian Church of Corona for Movies With a Message, Thursdays at 10 am.
Bring your own lunch and join in on the discussion after the movie.

Join with other churches world wide for a day of service
Last year, the Church was mobilized around the world on one single day to build and repair houses, distribute food, clean streets and schools, host block parties, pray for the sick in hospitals, and perform countless other service projects just to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need. With great love and selfless generosity, thousands of people united together under the banner of SERVE Day to impact their cities and communities in life-changing ways.
