Northern Lights

The Difference-
Gangler’s Northern Lights.

100% of our guests saw GREAT Northern Lights in 2019!

Lonely planet
Lonely Planet recently rated Manitoba as one of the best-kept secrets in the world for viewing the Aurora Borealis.

You won’t have to endure uncomfortable, freezing temps to see the aurora at Gangler’s in late August. Our nighttime temps are 40*-50*F (5*-10*C), unlike at other European and North American northern lights destinations where sub-freezing weather is necessary to ensure stable conditions conducive to the lights. Because of Gangler’s geographic location, we enjoy intense and consistent lights from late summertime to fall.

Ganglers in hot zone northern lightsEarly August thru mid-October is considered a peak period for Northern Lights.
