Dear Ursuline,

so many blessings. It started 26 years ago when Sr. Mary Phillip took a chance on a very young Jenni Matusiak. With very little experience but a ton of passion and eagerness to help young women, I jumped feet first into the Ursuline experience. I started off in the classroom and on the sidelines coaching. My second year at Ursuline I was married and the chorus sang at my wedding, the campus minister at the time helped with the mass and a ton of co-workers came to my reception. The blessings from this community have never stopped.
The biggest blessing though was witnessing first hand my daughter Nora’s (class of 2016) experience. If I thought the community I was a part of was amazing it reached epic levels once Nora walked through the doors as a student. The love and care shown to her on a daily basis from the co-workers and students made me even more proud to be a member of this community. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be a part of so many young women’s lives but most especially I will forever be grateful for all the sisters (for Nora), all the love, and all of the blessings that I have received. So during this season of giving, I give back to Ursuline to continue to create new possibilities
for our students and our community.
