24 - Mane Event at City Park

25 - Late Arrival for Lily House - 12th Grade at 9:30 a.m.

Today, Friday, September 18, all NEW students and all 8th-grade students will receive written narratives from their teachers updating parents on how students are progressing. These reports will be published to Blackbaud under the Report Cards Link on the student's Progress Page. Please note that all student accounts will show the link for these reports. Again, narratives are only written for NEW students and 8th graders at this time. 

Starting on Monday, September 21, 2026, we will no longer be using the ramp entrance or Ring camera. Please follow the directions below for Aftercare pickup starting on Monday: 

• Starting at 3:30 p.m., the Nashville Avenue Gate near the tennis courts and playground will be open for Aftercare pickup and will remain open until 5:30 p.m. 
• Please enter the Nashville Avenue Gate, park in the shell lot along the fence, and proceed to enter campus through the pedestrian gate. 
• Note: If the students are on the playground, the gate will be closed and opened manually when needed.
• Pick-up will be at the glass doors of the Lion’s Den. 
• Vehicles must exit via Willow Street. Please drive alongside the tennis courts to the automatic gate on Willow Street.
• Reminder: carpool pickup ends, and Aftercare begins at 3:30 p.m.

We hope to see you at Parents' Club Mane Event at City Park on Thursday, September 24, from 6-9 p.m. Wristbands can be purchased HERE and will be sold through the event. Students will be allowed to wear their Mane Event shirts to school on Thursday, September 24, with the rest of their school uniform. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with other families! You're encouraged to invite friends, neighbors, cousins, and Grandfriends. Please note that City Park is cashless.

After the exciting night out at Mane Event, all of our students can enjoy sleeping in the next morning, as there is a 9:30 a.m. late arrival to school on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Campus will not open until 9:30 a.m. Classes will start promptly at 10 a.m.

Parents, families, alumnae, and friends of Ursuline, join us for the 79th Rally on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the Ourso Gym! Pre-ordered wristbands were sent home with your daughters this week. Students who have not yet purchased wristbands can buy them in the Spirit Store during lunch. General admission tickets and concession tickets will still be available for purchase at the door. Please note that we are a cashless event.

Volunteering is about so much more than checking off a task. It’s about modeling our core value of Serviam, meaning "I will serve." It is showing your child that her school matters, building relationships with other families, supporting our teachers, and investing in a community that will shape her for years to come.

If you are volunteering to complete a Work Study obligation for the 2026-2027 school year, please be reminded that the deadline to submit all hours is March 31, 2027. For questions regarding Work Study, please contact business@uanola.org.

Lions on the Loose is a fee-based, after-school enrichment program offered to our Toddler 3-4th Grade students. Ursuline partners with vendors to offer a variety of class choices for our students, allowing them the opportunity to try out new things conveniently after school hours and on campus!

Each week, a designated student will take home an 11" resin statue of Our Lady of Prompt Succor along with an intention card. Each intention card will be collected and remembered in prayer by our community. Students will be able to keep Our Lady in their home from Friday through Tuesday, returning her to school on Wednesday. 

In the spirit of community, we would love to pray for the special intentions of our Ursuline family. Prayer intentions can be submitted through this form. Please note that during our Academy Masses, we mention the names of families who have lost loved ones. If you have recently lost a loved one and would like your family name to be mentioned during Mass, please complete this form.

Are you a responsible, enthusiastic high school student who enjoys working with young children? Ursuline Academy's Early Childhood Program is currently seeking dependable high school students to assist with our Aftercare Program for the upcoming school year. If you're interested and would like more information, please email manthony@uanola.org.

We are so excited to welcome our Grandfriends to our Pet Blessing Mass on Friday, October 2. Grandparents, a close friend, or a family member are welcome to attend Grandfriends' Day.  While this is intended to be an amazing time of connection within our community, we understand that this could be a challenging time for some students. Please inform your teacher if a Grandparent or close friend will not be able to attend with your student. Also, please let your teacher know if your student has recently experienced the loss of a Grandparent or pet. We want to provide the best support for the girls that we can. 

Please join us on Friday, October 2, for Grandfriends' Day! We will begin with Mass at 9 a.m. in the Shrine, followed by programming.



Please note that K-7th-grade students will be dismissed early at 11 a.m. on this day for Parent-Teacher Conferences at 1 p.m. More details regarding Lower School and Middle School Parent-Teacher Conferences to come.

For the safety and well-being of our school community, an RSVP is required by Monday, September 28. Your response ensures we can prepare appropriately and provide a safe, welcoming experience for all.

5th-7th grade girls, grab a friend for fun games and activities, exploring campus, a little pampering, and a lot of fun at Girls' Night Out, an Ursuline Academy pajama party on Saturday, October 3, from 5:30-8 p.m. Pizza, snacks, and drinks provided!

Please help us spread the word about our Lower School (K-4th) and Middle School (5th-7th) Open House on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. We'll offer tours of our beautiful 11.5-acre campus, visit our Kindergarten-7th-grade classrooms, and meet our dynamic students who will share firsthand just what it's like to be an Ursuline Girl. Check-in will begin at 8 a.m.

The Lionettes and Ursulettes invite all girls in Lower School (K-4th) to the Jr. UA Dance Clinic on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Ourso Gym at Ursuline Academy.

Registration will close on Monday, October 5, 2026. No dance experience is necessary to participate! T-shirts will be given at the Pink Game on Thursday, October 22, or available for pickup/delivery if the student cannot attend. Kindly purchase a ticket and fill out the registration form as well.
