"One Heart, One Will"

A Message from Miss Mabyn Breeden '32

Principal for the Day

Miss Breeden,

Please share something you are grateful for at Ursuline.

We have the National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, the shrine in our school that has the statue of Our Lady of Prompt Succor--we pray to her during hurricane season.

One of my favorite things is that we have a really good cafeteria and really good food. There is hot food, sandwiches, salads and fruits and it's always fresh. The people that work in our cafeteria are really nice.

Another thing I love about my school is all the teachers because they get that we all have different points of view. They understand us and they teach us so many good things. Sometimes we are learning something and I get something and my friend doesn’t get something else but my teacher understands -- she knows it all so that when we comprehend things differently she can help us all.

I like Pink Game because we cheer for our school and it feels like we have so much school pride. I love being in the gym. I love running and stuff like that.

My school is different from others schools because they don’t have a dining hall and times when all the school comes together. We have special traditions and not every school has a church in it.
