The Union of Black Episcopalians Diocese of Newark Chapter will celebrate the life and ministry of the Rev. Absalom Jones, the first person of African descent ordained a deacon and priest in the Episcopal Church, in an online service.
Bishop Hughes will be the celebrant. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Melvin Wilson of St. Matthew AME Church, Orange, NJ. Find out more.

These services are limited to a maximum of 25 candidates each and each Candidate is limited to a maximum of 6 guests, not including their clergy or sponsors/presenters. All others are invited to watch the live streams of the services from home. Find out more.
