All The Way Up Adult Education Center celebrates a decade of learning
All The Way Up was launched in 2016 to respond to the needs of Newark Central Ward, near the House of Prayer Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Diocese of Newark brought together urban and suburban church leaders to discern the needs of the neighborhood around the House of Prayer, and health and education emerged as top priorities. All The Way Up was formed to address the educational needs of Newark residents, where only 22% of adults have earned a high school diploma. Read the article.

Prayer vigil at Delaney Hall

On the fourth Sunday of each month, our diocese is holding a brief prayer vigil outside the Delaney Hall ICE detention facility in Newark. If you plan to attend in person, click here for guidelines and materials. If you are not able to join us in person, we will do our best to live stream the vigil to the diocesan Facebook page. You can also pray at the same time from wherever you are, in solidarity with us.
