Vanderbilt Vampire Ball 2025

(An 1890s ball with an eerie aesthetic)

Saturday, October 4, 2025

6:00 pm Hall opens

7:00-10:00 pm Ball

Holliston Town Hall, Holliston, MA

Join the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers for a deliciously spooky ball to kick off the Halloween season. Imagine that the Vanderbilts, Astors, and other Gilded Age wealthy families have found a way to keep dancing forever, and we are invited to join them in the ballroom. All dances will be taught during the course of the evening. Beginners are welcome, and it is not necessary to have a partner to attend.

Our music and dance will be from the 1890s. To create an immersive environment, please wear a costume from the late 19th century or modern formal dress. The aesthetic for the ball is spooky and faded elegance. Please avoid obvious blood and gore - it is simply not polite in the ballroom.
