Happy Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month to highlight the many ways in which people with and without disabilities come together to form strong, diverse communities. The staff at one of Via’s Small Group Employment sites, Cigars International, work together with Via participants every day to do just that. Every month participants who go above and beyond at work receive awards. Pictured above are the February award winners who were thrilled to receive recognition for their hard work and dedication. Congresswoman Susan Wild Visits Via

This month, staff and participants at our Spruce Street location received a very special visit from Congresswoman Susan Wild and her team. We truly appreciate that Congresswoman Susan Wild visited to learn more about Via’s services and meet our participants.

Mix & Mingle to Benefit Via of the Lehigh Valley

Save the date! The Downtown Bethlehem Association and the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce have chosen Via to benefit from their next Mix and Mingle event in honor of Autism Acceptance Month in April. The event will be on Wednesday, April 20 from 5 pm – 7 pm at Lost Tavern Brewing in Downtown Bethlehem. There will be drink specials, door prizes and goodie bags available for purchase. We hope to see you there!

Via Named Cornerstone Inaugural Grant Recipient

This month, representatives from Cornerstone Advisors Asset Management presented Via with a generous $7,000 grant to support Via’s services. We truly appreciate this donation and Cornerstone’s dedication to supporting our services. Via depends upon community support to fill the gap between the true cost of providing services and what the government pays, as well as for funding capital projects.
