Via Celebrates National Disability Employment Awareness Month
Throughout the month of October, Via joined businesses, agencies and the public to celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month to honor “the many and varied contributions of people with disabilities to America’s workplaces and economy.” Throughout the month, Via highlighted businesses that have benefited from hiring talented and dedicated individuals with disabilities as well as some of the people Via helped prepare for, attain and retain employment.

Through Via’s Community Employment Services, Joseph learned what he liked to do and got his first job as a cart attendant at Weis Market. Joseph has been so successful that he recently received a Weis Gold Star from his supervisor because of the many compliments he received about his customer service.

Congratulations, Joseph!
