Dear Colleagues,
Good afternoon. Earlier today, Provost Wendland and I sent an email to Danforth Campus assistant and associate professors to announce that the Office of the Provost is sponsoring a new program to support early-career faculty whose research and creative activities have been impacted by the COVID pandemic. Tenure-track and tenured faculty through the associate professor level are eligible to apply for course releases, research and publication grants, and additional support opportunities. You can read more and access the application here.
Many wonderful opportunities and resources are highlighted in this month’s newsletter, including an upcoming performance by the Ukrainian vocal quartet, DhakhaBrakha, and presentations by Distinguished Visiting Scholar, Dr. Rhoda Reddock. I hope you will be able to take advantage of these exciting offerings, on and off campus this month.
If you have ideas for new ways Faculty Affairs and Diversity can support faculty, please contact us. We value your input!
Warm regards,
-Kia Caldwell, vice provost for faculty affairs and diversity
