Dear Colleagues,
Happy fall to you all! I’m pleased to let you know that the Faculty Affairs and Diversity team in the Office of the Provost has launched a new way of communicating. I hope you enjoy this first issue of our monthly newsletter.
My hope is that our newsletter will be a useful tool to help inform you of opportunities that promote faculty equity, innovation, and academic excellence. Below you will find information about our Faculty Affairs and Diversity team, as well as our Return and Reset resources and programming that our team has planned to help WashU faculty this fall as we find and develop our new normal. We realize that our personal and professional lives have changed in profound ways during the pandemic and many are still navigating challenges and transition. We encourage you to utilize the resources on the Return and Reset webpage, and I hope you will be able attend some of these exciting events.
Warm regards,
-Kia Caldwell, Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Diversity
