The Blessing of a Home at Epiphany

20+C+M+B+23

The Church has a custom of blessing homes on the Feast of the Epiphany (January 6). The family gathers to ask God’s blessing on their home and those who live in and visit the home. It is an invitation for Jesus to be a daily guest in our home, our comings and goings, our work and play, our joys and sorrows. We have chalk and a home blessing prayer sheet available for you to pick up during office hours or you may print the prayer sheet from the link below

Common Ground

Community Garden at St. John's

The new year in the garden has us wishing, hoping, and praying that we didn't lose everything in the hard freeze prior to Christmas. Time will tell. Meantime we'll dream a bit as we thumb through the seed catalogs of winter in anticipation of another growing season. Wishing you all good things in this New Year!
