Parents Night Out February 14!

Are you ready for a night out with your sweetheart, but feeding your little ones, finding a sitter, and more make that a tricky endeavor? Well, your St. John's family has your back! On Friday, February 14 - from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM - our adult volunteers are going to host a Valentine's Pary for kiddoes, giving you the opportunity to go out for a little bit of time together!

Wondering what we'll have, though? Food? Check. Games? Check. A Movie? Check. And for the littlest ones? We'll have books, toys, and lots of love! It is Valentine's Day, after all.

Registration closes Wednesday, February 12, at 5:00 pm.

Upcoming Events

Want to run and benefit our local community at the same time? Then you should sign up for the River City Run! With funds benefitting the Committee on Church Cooperation, you can exercise both your body and your commitment to your neighbor. Sam will be at the Point Mallard Trail in Decatur (near the Point Mallard Golf Course) on Saturday mornings beginning February 15 if you’d like to train and run with him! Mid-Week Holy Eucharist With Prayers for Healing and Anointing

Wednesdays, 12:10 pm, in St. Mary's Chapel

Altar flower dedications are given to the glory of God and in memory, thanksgiving, or celebration for people or events important to that day's flower donor. One dedication per Sunday is accepted; flower donations are $75. Please send the completed form with payment to the church office. Contact the office with questions.

Our climbing aster is a natural bird feeder since we left the seeds. Still a safety zone for the birds too. And the old fig stump provides a home for bugs and insects and as such, it is another natural bird feeder! 

While scouring the garden this week for signs of spring, many new green shoots were found, as well as some buds on one of the native honeysuckles.
