CAN YOU HELP OUT THIS SATURDAY?

HELP NEEDED FOR THE 12:30 TO 2:30 PM SHIFT!

St. John’s is seeking volunteers to support PACT’s Touch-a-Truck free community event on Saturday, September 26, at Ascend Performance Materials, 1050 Chemstrand Avenue.

Church members are needed between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm at the St. John’s tent, where we’ll hand out tattoos to children (and some adults!), candy, and church event cards.

We need your smiles and friendly faces to help greet our community and our neighbors at PACT!

Sign up for one of the available time slots or contact Ann Stewart at 256.303.9758 or jac97nat00@yahoo.com.

Simply Divine Bake Sale Meetings

Simply Divine season will be here soon! We'll get started with organizational meetings on October 4th and 11th in the Library. Stop by either meeting to learn more about the Bake Sale and all of the ways you can support this annual fundraiser for a local outreach organization. Questions, contact Alex Adams.

Planning Ahead for Trunk or Treat

Looking forward to St. John's Third Annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 29th! First step: Candy Drive! We go through A LOT of candy at Trunk or Treat! Please donate individually wrapped, snack-sized bags of candy to the marked bins in the Narthex and office hallway.

Decorated Trunk sign-up will open soon! More details coming!

Mark Your Calendar!

Theology on Tap-it's back! All are welcome to our informal, weekly gatherings for food and conversation. Look for us at the Brick at our reserved table.

Come celebrate and honor your animal companions and give thanks for their presence! The blessing recognizes our deep connection with animals and the important role they play in our lives.

All animal friends, on a leash or in a carrier, are welcome! And bring a lawn chair for yourself.

We are supporting Decatur Animal Services with a supply drive. Items needed: dry puppy and kitten food, cat litter, laundry detergent, bleach, towels, leashes, collars, and animal sponsorships. Please bring donations to the event. DCS appreciates every donation!
