FREE Anxiety and Depression Screening

The CSU Anxiety & Depression Screening Day calls attention to the prevalence of anxiety and depression in our society, educates the CSU community to the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression, informs people about the availability of effective treatments for anxiety and depression, and connects those in need to counseling services.

The Screening Day program includes:

  • An anxiety-depression screening form
  • A 5-10 minute individual screening interview with a mental health professional to discuss the results of your screening form
  • Individuals answering questions about anxiety and depression
  • Mental health handouts/pamphlets

This year's theme is "Setting the Record Straight: Don't Believe the Hype — Hip Hop @ 50." Project 400, which began in 2019, honors the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first Africans in the British Colonies in North America. Our two-day hybrid conference will delve into the challenges faced by African Americans today, celebrating the triumphs and acknowledging the hurdles that still persist.


Explore the contributions, contradictions, and complexities of Hip Hop on its 50th anniversary, and how it intertwines with the challenges of misinformation and distortions in our present-day society.


Whether you join us virtually or in person, mark your calendars for February 23 and 24, from 10:00am to 2:30pm for this enlightening and impactful event!

Come Celebrate the Lunar New Year

Join Cleveland State Global and CISP (Center of International Services and Programs) to celebrate Lunar New Year, a culturally rich event that holds significance in various Asian communities. There will be common traditions such as a red envelope exchange that symbolizes luck and prosperity. Other festivities include Karaoke and traditional games. Traditional cuisines will be shared that symbolizes luck and wealth. Admission: $10 per ticket. Let’s come together to appreciate the cultural diversity that enriches our college community.

2024 Holocaust Remembrance Event

A lecture by Sarah Levy, expert in Holocaust education at Yad Vashem.


This lecture will explore how individual decisions contribute to historical events. The actions and decisions of human beings play a critical role in influencing the development of events in our society.
