PTA Thanks. The PTA and Food For Families 2012 committee extends an enormous thank you to all members of the Saint Anne School community who made the celebration on November 21st such a huge success. St. Anne Church Novena Honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe, Thursday, December 6 at 7pm. St. Anne Church will offer a novena in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe in the church on Thursday, December 6, starting at 7pm. 

School To Host an Evening of Las Posadas, Thursday, Decmber 20, 7pm (DATE CHANGE).  Saint Anne School continues its annual Christmas holiday tradition with the celebration of Las Posadas on December 20. Las Posadas is a holiday celebration that originated in Mexico and represents the journey of Mary and Joseph in their search for shelter in Bethelem. The celebration will be hosted by the school and welcome the greater St. Anne Parish community. This year's celebration will feature bilingual prayers and songs, music, delicious food and cocoa, and the much-anticipated pi�atas for the children.  Please contact Mary Contreras to volunteer to help with this event, macontreras2909@yahoo.com. Room Parents will be contacting you to ask for contributions of specific items needed for the celebration. The list will be posted in next week's newsletter. Stay tuned!

Call for Preschool Ambassadors. If your child attended preschool and you would like to earn service hours as an ambassador to that preschool, please see Mrs. O'Day or email, coday@saintanneschool.com. By calling and visiting your child's former preschool to deliver brochures and open house materials for current preschool parents and facilitating a Kindergarten Information presentation for parents at that preschool, you can assist us with admissions outreach and earn service hour credit. 

DATE CHANGE: Candy Money Due in School Office Thursday, December 20th. Due to the delay in the arrival of the candy, we have extended the deadline for turning in all candy money by one week.   

Free Eyeglasses for Eligible Uninsured Students: Sight for Students. Sight for Students provides free vision exams and glasses to low-income, uninsured children. The program operates nationally through a network of community partners who identify children in need and VSP network doctors who provide the eye care services. Check Your Mission Marathon Mileage Online! You can now log on with your child to track his or her progress in the Mission Marathon running program. Students who complete 26.2 miles during the school year are eligible for an end-of-year field trip. Log on with your child and encourage his or her progress.
