THE VIKING VOICE

November 3, 2022

FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK

As we begin the month of November, we celebrate the saints of the Church. On Tuesday of this week, our 1st graders processed into church with vests and shared reports to honor those who have been canonized as saints. Similarly, our 4th graders are also honoring our saints with research reports that will be shared in their class and with our third graders. These opportunities allow our students to learn about the saints who have been models of our Catholic faith and values. They offer our students a chance to walk in the footsteps of the saints that have been formative in our church’s history.

The first trimester will end on Friday, November 11. Report cards will be posted to OptionC on Friday, November 18. Families are encouraged to check their student’s OptionC for their current progress. Any questions can be answered by your child’s teacher(s).

Lastly, as Mr. Louis approaches his paternity leave, please join me in praying for the safe arrival of the Louis twins. It is also with a thankful heart that I share Mrs. Ashley Homoelle will be filling in as his long-term substitute teacher. Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Homoelle to our team!

God bless,

Stephanie

OUTREACH COMMISSION YARD CREW

Outreach Commission is putting together a Yard Crew. We will keep a list of volunteers who would be willing to help out with light yard projects (leaf raking, trimming bushes). When a request comes in for help, we will contact our list of volunteers to see who may be available to complete the project. We will be reaching out to parishioners and Clermont Senior Services late fall to see if anyone needs assistance with raking leaves. Yard Crew would be perfect for families, high school students who are completing service hours, and adults of all ages. You may need to bring your own tools. If you want to be on the Yard Crew, please sign up on the SignUp Genius.
