December 19, 2024

Dear Viking Families,

It’s hard to believe the Christmas season is already upon us! The spirit of Christmas has truly filled our school over the past few weeks. Our Vikings have worked diligently to embody the virtue of generosity as they’ve learned about the Nativity Story, the Jesse Tree, St. Juan Diego, and many of the rich traditions of our Church.

Tomorrow, we embark on a new adventure as our K-8 students participate in our Holiday Jingle and Joy field trip to local nursing homes. Students will share the joy of Christmas through the Legend of the Poinsettia and a variety of Christmas carols. Both students and teachers are excited to experience this special event together.

We are grateful for a faith-filled Advent season and eagerly await the birth of our Savior. May your Christmas be filled with blessings, and may the New Year bring joy, peace, and hope to you and your family.

We look forward to seeing everyone when we return on Monday, January 6, 2025.

God bless,

Stephanie Woodall, Principal

Holiday Jingle and Joy Reminder

This Friday, December 20, our students will participate in the Holiday Jingle and Joy field trip to local nursing homes. The buses will depart promptly at 9:00 AM, so please ensure your child arrives at school on time.

Students are required to wear their school uniform for the field trip. They may bring festive accessories to wear during the trip and a festive shirt to change into upon our return to school.

If your child arrives at school after their assigned bus has departed at 9:00 AM, they will remain on campus and attend a supervised study hall until the field trip concludes at 11:00 AM. Please note, due to the nature of this trip, we are unable to accommodate late student arrivals at the nursing home locations.

Registration Update

Priority registration for our 2025-2026 school year opens on Monday, January 6, 2025, exclusively for our school and parish families. Early interest surveys show that our Preschool, PreK, and Kindergarten programs will be more than halfway full during our priority registration window, so we encourage you to register early to secure a spot for your child. Don't delay! Open registration for all families will begin on Friday, January 24, 2025. Secure your child's place early and ensure a great start to their education!
