Since May 1, we have been busy wrapping up our capital campaign and picking up, and getting to work on, next steps.
Here are some of the highlights:
Closing set for tomorrow!
So much hard work and generosity, along with the engagement of hundreds of neighbors, has gotten us to this point. We are very excited that May 16, 2018 will be the day that The Village Club & Preserve takes ownership of the property and, together with our supporters, sets a new trajectory for the future.
First Community Work Day:
For those excited to get out to the property and help clean up, we are aiming to have our first work day on
Saturday, June 2
(morning and afternoon shifts). Projects will include parking lot, clearing sidewalks, tree trimming, and cleaning up the large asphalt tennis/sports court.
Community Day Sign-Up Form
if you're interested in participating so we know how many helpers to expect. More details to come!
Construction & Restoration:
While we have consulted with several pool contractors and have a solid quote in-hand for the pool restoration, we are working on making a few more connections before we choose our vendor for the project. On construction--we are finalizing drawings for our Phase 1 building project, the bath house structure, and will be looking to submit for permitting soon.
Stay tuned--we will continue to share developments with you as we progress!
