Dear Coleen,
We returned from Easter Recess feeling energized and renewed. We move through the last cycle of the school year still filled with the joy that comes with service, especially our SIC Spring Phase. Over the course of the program, our students contributed more than 7,000 hours of service across 22 community partner sites, including daycares, schools, soup kitchens, hospitals, senior centers, and the Motherhouse of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
Throughout their experiences, students kept journals to reflect on the emotions, insights, and challenges they encountered - processing how acts of service can shape not just the world around them, but who they are becoming.
We are so incredibly proud - not only of what our students have done, but of who they are. They embody the very essence of our Vincentian legacy, showing us all what it means to live lives of purpose, grace and service.
We are looking forward to celebrating another year of community as our seniors graduate in June taking their place in the 156 year old legacy that is Saint Vincent Academy. We are grateful for your ongoing support which has been instrumental in shaping all of our young women and preparing them to step into the world with confidence and compassion.
Sincerely,
|
