 VIRGINIA PRIMARIES ON JUNE 13

 

On Tuesday, June 13, Virginians will vote in the Democratic and Republican primaries to elect their statewide (Governor, Lt. Governor) and House of Delegates nominees for this fall's election. It is essential that all Virginia manufacturers and manufacturing employees take the time to vote this year.

KNOW THE CANDIDATES & ISSUES


  

Wagner for Governor (R).  VA State Senator Frank Wagner is the only candidate that was a former manufacturer.  His platform is focused on education, the state economy and energy, jobs and workforce development, and transportation.  His campaign information is at http://www.wagnervagovernor.com/.

Stewart for Governor (R).  Prince William County's At-Large Chairman is running a campaign focused on a wide range of issues from protecting historical monuments to illegal immigration to eminent domain.  His campaign information is at http://www.coreystewart.com/.

Periello for Governor .  A former one-term Virginia Congressman, Periello's campaign issues focus on a broad range of environmental, social justice, and public health issues.  His campaign information is at www.tomforvirginia.com/issue/.

Northam for Governor (D).   Current Lt. Governor Northam is a pediatric neurologist.  His campaign is focused on issues ranging from climate change to gun violence and public health.  His campaign information is at http://ralphnortham.com/issues/.

Gillespie For Governor (R).    A former Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia and the Republican National Committee, Gillespie's campaign covers a wide range of issues from government reform and efficiency to tax reform.  His campaign information is at https://edforvirginia.com/.
