The NANB Continuing Competency Program has two mandatory components. Both components must be completed if you are registering for active practice.
Completing a self-assessment, developing and evaluating a learning plan as well as completing the online learning module, Standards for Documentation. Completion of the learning module should take about 40 minutes and it can be accessed through "My Profile". NANB Registration Renewal 2022
Closes November 30
Your registration must be renewed before November 30, 2021.* Please note that if you currently have a non-practising registration in 2021 and want an active practising registration in 2022, you cannot renew online. To renew online, log in to “My Profile” or create your profile at “Create My Profile” and access the RENEW ONLINE option.
Pre-authorized Debit (PAD) option available for 2023 renewal
The Nurses Association of New Brunswick (NANB) offers a Pre-authorized Debit (PAD) Program, which permits members to pre-pay their annual registration fees for the upcoming practice year in monthly installments. Payments will begin in January 2022 for the 2023 practice year. If you are interested in participating in NANB’s PAD Program, please click on the “Register for PAD Program” button on your My Profile page and follow the onscreen instructions. Registration for the 2023 PAD Program will close on December 31st, 2021.

Calling All Interested Nurses for
the Resolutions Committee
NANB is searching for a committee member for the Resolutions Committee. The committee facilitates a call for resolutions from NANB members and receives and screens the resolutions. Members of the Resolutions Committee determines whether resolutions are suitable for decision at the Annual General Meeting, for direct presentation to the Board, or for action by NANB staff.

DoH Improving Access to Specialist Care Program
The Department of Health in collaboration with the Regional Health Authorities, are pleased to inform you of the Improving Access to Specialist Care Program - a pilot program for non-urgent referrals to Zone 3 and Zone 6 Orthopedic Specialists. This program will streamline access to Orthopedic Specialist care in addition to capturing and tracking the patient journey through their wait time to specialist consultation.
Nurse Practitioners and their office assistants are asked to take this a brief (5 minutes or less) online survey that will be available until November 30, 2021.
