NANB's CEO, Denise LeBlanc-Kwaw, attended Fredericton's Remembrance Day Ceremony on November 11^th to lay a wreath on behalf of NANB's Board of Director's and staff.

NANB honours and remembers all veterans and members of the armed forces, including registered nurses, who sacrificed their lives to protect our Country, and all those who currently serve.

Mandatory Continuing

Competence Program 2023

Completion of the learning module on the Standards for the Nurse Client-Relationship is required for registration and must be completed by November 30.

Closes November 30

Your registration must be renewed online before November 30, 2023.To renew online, log in to “My Profile” and access the Complete My Renewal option.

Important Dates to Remember:

November 30: Deadline to renew your licence.
December 1: First day of new registration year.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Registrations Automatically Expire following November 30.

On December 1, 2023, all members whose registration has expired will receive a notice by email. In addition, NANB will be contacting all NB employers to provide a list of members with expired registration.

because of an extended leave (maternity leave, sick leave, long term disability, etc.)? Read these tips to avoid unauthorized practice.

Preauthorized Debit (PAD)

option for paying NANB fees

Members have the option to pay annual renewal fees by pre-authorized debit (PAD). The PAD payment option is open to all active practice members who intend to renew their registration the following year.

Fall Forum Highlights

In case you missed it...

NANB was pleased to host approximately 100 members from around the province on October 26 at the Four Points Sheraton in Edmundston for our Fall Education Day: Shaping the Future of Nursing in N.B.

Participants engaged in presentations from David Bernard and Harry Cayton in the morning and an afternoon panel discussion with Leigh Chapman, Karima Velji and Catherine Hupé.

NANB would like to thank all who attended and our guest speakers for making it a successful and informative day.

Resolution Committee Members Needed

NANB is searching for two committee members for the Resolution Committee. The Committee facilitates a call for resolutions from NANB members and receives and screens the resolutions, deeming them suitable for decision at the Annual General Meeting, for direct presentation to the Board, or for action by NANB staff. NANB is seeking a bilingual Subject Matter Expert (SME) to participate in the critical task of reviewing translations for the Canadian Nurse Practitioner Exam (CNPE). This engagement is an integral part of ensuring the accuracy and precision of the exam content in both English and French.
