Fact Sheet: Self-Regulation
Nurses and nurse practitioners in New Brunswick are self-regulated professionals. This authority to self-regulate is granted by the Nurses Act. This fact sheet on self regulation helps nurses understand self-regulation, their professional accountabilities related to self-regulation and NANB’s role as the regulatory body.
PMP Early Adopters and Testers
Are you looking for an opportunity to directly impact health care providers in our province? The Pharmaceutical Services Branch is implementing a new Prescription Monitoring Program early next year.   As an essential tool to combat the opioid crisis, the PMP allows authorized health care providers to view information on dispensed prescriptions. We are looking for early adopters and testers of our new all prescription PMP software. If you are interested, please contact us at pmp.psp@gnb.ca.

Be part of the solution by helping us implement our (technological) solution!
